The Institutions
The Acupuncture and Tui Na Hospital and the Red Cross Hospital work together with the Zhejiang University of TCM in Hangzhou to train foreign students since 1983. They are one of the first TCM training institutions for foreign students in China and are accredited by TCM universities, colleges and associations globally.
The Students
The students come in small groups mainly from Europe, Australia and USA to Hangzhou to take part in internships at the teaching clinics of the hospital.
The Internship
After the study of TCM theory one may gain precious practical experience. A limited number of students may take part in clinical courses between one to three months duration.
Advanced Students
A journey to China is a sensible experience for the advanced student too. One gets to hear and learn the latest TCM developments in the country of its origin. The knowledge deepens immediately with clinical experience, "learning by doing.
Specialization
You have the opportunity to specialize in one or several faculties of herbal medicine or Tui Na massage.
